Such a nice little surprise of a film, a cerain magic about it just works! Ryan O'Neal gives a solid performance as a Bible Salesman/Con Man, but the scene stealer without a doubt is Tatum O'Neal (Ryan's actual daughter).
I still believe she is the youngest actress to ever win an Academy Award (best supporting actress) to this day, and she throughly deserved it! I guess all the performances in this film are strong and it just flows along nicely, a perfect depression era road comedy. Well worth a watch....
