I wouldn't call this a good movie because it was really cheesy. However, I did enjoy it enough to say that it's not a complete waste of time. I'm not a fan of the orginal, so I took this movie for what it was.
My wife is a die hard fan of the orginal, and she hated it. I guess that tells you everything you need to know.
