I didn't really have any expectations for "Oz the Great and Powerful" and I still felt disappointed by the time the credits rolled. Isn't that a bummer? James Franco's performance is just kind of "meh" and the world and characters really don't live up to the fantastical nature that The Wizard of Oz is known for.
This film is just kind of an uninspired cash grab, and if you want to see a good Wizard of Oz prequel, go check out Wicked.
