Review of Outland (1981) by Olli H — 01 Aug 2011
Marshal O'Neil (Sean Connery) has just been transfered to the mining facility in the Jupiter moon Io. After some weird suicides occur, his investigations lead to a deeper drug conspiracy and that sets him in a duel of sorts with the facilty's General Manager Sheppard (Peter Boyle).
"Outland" is practically a western, only it's set on space. There's a new sheriff in town and the evil mayor(or something like that) is not too happy about it. But overall it follows the same western pattern and that made it quite predictable. Connery was good though.
