Review of Out for Justice (1991) by Stephen C — 06 Jan 2011
Seagal has always been pretty limited as an actor but this movie isnt actually that bad .
Its a solid action movie no more and no less ,what it does have is plenty of action and some fine supporting players in William Forsythe and Jerry Orbach.
Seagal plays a New York cop whos beat is the tough Broooklyn streets.
When his partner is killed by Forsythe ,he goes all out to find his killer.
Baically thats it plot wise Forsythe is good as a toatlly coked out villian and Jerry Orbach lends gravitas to the movie.
But what stands out are the set pieces ,including Deagal kicking arse in a Butchers shop and a local bar and of course the final face off which includes nice use of a corkscrew.
No better or no worse than most action movies ,this is a beer and pizza movie if ever there was one.
