Review of Out for Justice (1991) by Steven1981 — 22 Mar 2020
Out for Justice is a 1991 action crime drama thriller but more of an action movie and typical kill all the badguys movie for me with one man out to prove he's a tough guy lol... Steven Seagal plays some guy named Gino and he basically goes round beating people up, shooting people with shotguns or killing people with other firearms.
Out for Justice has a love and lust for violence and it's displayed on the screen and the story is somewhat lost in all the violence and parts are a bit tedious to say the least. I can't watch this film now but 15+ years ago I loved it but these days it would bore the crap out of me because Seagal is horrible to view and experience and rather uninteresting at times.
There's this badguy in Out for Justice called Richie played by William Forsythe who's simply annoying, stupid, terrible actor and laughable as a villain.. This movie has many stupid characters and badguys and Steven Seagal's crap fighting nonsense that gets old very quickly to the point of extinct boredom of uninterest.
We see actress Gina Gershon make an appearance and to be honest I can't remember if the story was good or if there was any but certainly this film is horribly made and directed with no redeeming features at all to save it.
It's just a horrible mess and grotesque and over the top violence and blood and shootouts and fighting. Usually I love violent movies but this seems and feels very uninteresting and Steven Seagal is just plain awful and even the huge amount of violence doesn't make it enjoyable either and all the characters in the movie are horrible and unlikeable except for maybe, maybe the actress named Gina Gershon.
Horrible movie.
