Being an older person myself, I was looking forward to seeing this movie; however, I was very disappointed. The acting was excellent, especially Redford's, but I admit I didn't watch the movie to the end as I found it to be boring and unrealistic.
Addie, played by Fonda, suddenly seeks companionship from a neighbor although she's been a widow for decades. The pace of the film is so slow, I simply lost interest.
