Review of Our Man in Havana (1960) by Ben W — 03 Mar 2009
What happened carol reed and alec guinness? this was a great setup. you had graham greene write a story for you. some of the camerawork was good too. alec had a few good scenes and everything, but somehow this got left in muddled obscurity.
and coming after the likes of masterpieces as the third man and the fallen idol. im still not quite sure what element of this actually made it flop. but flop it did.
