Review of Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) by Warren J — 02 Jan 2017
Flanagan swerves up this movie prequel in such ways that it doesn't even needed to be tied-up to its predecessor. Origin Of Evil tells a more quality story that is surprisingly moving and can stand on it's own.
An impressive work with the throwback 60s setting; a touch of realistic approach with the personification of the characters. This movie in the first place shouldn't even be recognized as a prequel at all.
Instead, a new horror movie that carved itself out to the little rotten pieces of Quija [2014] and made itself a superior version. This movie shouldn't be recognized as a prequel on the first place, because it's just that great!
