Review of Orpheus (1950) by Ojas V — 27 Dec 2011
Although the plot isn't original and it's not the first nor the last film to set the orpheus myth in a modern setting it is a great visual achievement from Cocteau, and is one of the best mythic films ever made.
Even knowing the story of Orpheus doesn't stop the film from being a stand alone masterpiece.
