Review of Ordet (1955) by Philip O — 11 Sep 2009
Religious hypocrisy ahead, as what could be expected from Carl Theodor Dreyer. Two religious fathers don't want their children to marry each other because their families have different faiths. The doctor doesn't seem to believe in anything irrational while the pastor doesn't have faith that Johannes can have anything to do with God's miracles until, of course, the chilling yet wonderful ending.
