Well, what can I say. The many existing reviewssay it all. It is indeed a true classic.
It is amongst the best films on the subject of faith/religion/beliefs. Yes, it is slow paced and the performances are perhaps not 'gripping' but they work well together and actually ensure that the film gives the audience a feeling of being involved.
I don't think it is a challenging movie at all, one can watch it with ease and enjoy a touching piece of art.
