Review of Operation Crossbow (1965) by Yan E — 08 Oct 2009
Interesting subject matter but very flawed film. To see George Peppard shoot a machine gun is very funny ; he puts so much acting into faking the effect of firing recoil that his gun goes in every direction but always hits the target. Also, the use of archive footage to compensate the lack of budget just doesn't work.
All in all, it was still a good spy thriller.
