Review of Opera (1987) by David E — 12 Feb 2016
Dario Argento is quite known for his work with giallo/horror (my overall favorite film by him is & always will be "Suspiria"; "Phenomena" was great, too). "Opera"/"Terror at the Opera" has its Argento moments of appealing cinematography along with suspense & horror (which are accompanied by gruesome deaths).
While a majority of the film was unique, the ending was rather stale & almost unsatisfying (you have to watch to find out). "Opera" was pretty good, but could have been a little better.
