Review of Opera (1987) by Stef B — 10 Feb 2010
This movie has so many awesome death scenes, made more awesome with a great combination of metal and opera tunes. The killer has a very unusual M.O and an even more bizarre motive which isn't revealed until the twisty ending. I love all the ravens, they are adorable and Dario got some amazing shots of them. Another thing I love is all the brilliant camera angles, including first person prespectives (i.e Betty's point of view through the pins and under the blindfold, and also the killer's point of view during some of the murders). I was impressed with all the backward panning and the lovely shots of the spiral staircase. Beautiful movie!
Urbano Barberini is HOT.
