Review of Open Range (2003) by Andrew P — 06 Feb 2008
Easiest film on the eyes, cinematography helps you take it all in. Just roll along with it! Dont expect Desperado action. Expect depth as you journey with the characters. Duvall is so good at being normal! He is a convincing father figure and gentlemen.
To really appreciate this piece of art you gotta see the documentary, it captures the conflicts of social transistion powerfully. Of Mice and Men meets Little house on the Prarie?... Nice one Kev!
