Though there are some fine performances in several scenes, as westerns go this had far too many lulls between scenes. The Costner/Duvall team was a nice one though, they just could have done with a better script.
Nice to see Michael Jeter in this in a role a little diferent for him and? A great shoot-out towards the end that earns it's 3 stars here.
