Review of Only God Forgives (2013) by Lance A — 11 Jan 2014
By far, this is Refn's most cult-appealing film yet. Creating a visionary tale set against a dark and violent world, many would find the film slow-paced. Having little dialogue and a slow-build up can set it back.
Yet, with Gosling as the front-man, this delivers a stylish and mind-bending film that will definitely be put in the indie-cult category.
