Only God Forgives is known for being booed at the Cannes Film Festival and it totally deserved it. It's a metaphorical piece of sh** that doesn't have a scent of good dialouge or even standard acting performances because the director expects you to understand the film completely with just dragged-on scenes of emotionless staring. When you do figure out the meaning to every little boring detail, you still don't appreciate anything it has to offer: the brutal violence; the gorgeous cinematography; and the action sequences.
