A good film about a bunch of roughneck pilots who risk there lves daily to fly shipments around the Andes Mountains. Cary Grant plays the boss very well; I love how much of an asshole he is in this film.
The film is quite epic given the year it was made with some pretty amazing special effects for the time period that must have made this film quite the spectacle. The characters all get adequate time to breath and be worth something.
Just grade A filmmaking by one of the best, Howard Hawks.
