I had high hopes for this movie cause I enjoy road movies and "what does it all mean" movies as well.

But between the shoddy direction... zombie like narrative ... and the in your face canadianana .. which I thought was overkill with name dropping canadian tire and tim horten cups giving him secret messages and him just happening to stumble to a random hockey rink where they have the stanley cup sitting there..

Kinda cheesy..

Josha jackson I felt did a good job .. I did enjoy the locals he visited and now I want to visit for myself.

But storywise , scriptwise... this movie falls flat on its face.. cliche.... poor editing ... I felt the need to fast forward through out this movie espically when fuckface lead singer from the tragicly hip appeared as stoner who was trying hard to have a silent bob speech with the main character...i feel like the director was trying to ride a "canadian" road trip movie and name drop and throw in as much canadiana as he could to get funding for this turd ....
