When we read someone's review of any movie, we are reading an opinion which is colored by their lifetime of experiences. I say that because, when I watched this movie, I found it neither depressing nor morbid, two terms which are being bantered around here too often.
I thought it was uplifting, and thought provoking. Of course that opinion is colored by my experiences. Be your own movie critic. See this and every other movie you have the opportunity to see, and let your lifetime of experience color your review!
