Review of One Night with the King (2006) by Bob B — 26 Nov 2008

Reminds me of those HORRIBLY long biblical/ classic epics that MGM/FOX would make way back when (Ben-Hur, etc). The downside of this one is that there are no Chariot Races/huge wars to speed up the pacing.

Also lacking is the great talent that Charleton Heston and men of his talent brought to movies made in that era. And it isn't even 4 hours- it's 2. Way too dramatized, pointless dialogue and pretty uninspired acting.

And it did have potential.
