Ick, compared to Takashi Miike's other fine works, I found this film to be quite lackluster. I'm not saying it didn't entertain me, because it did a fine job in that department, but for me it just wasn't as memorable as works such as 'Ichi the Killer', 'Audition', or even Miike's Masters of Horror episode called 'Imprint'.
