Review of One Missed Call (2003) by Shayne J — 02 Apr 2013
Yes, it's un-original at times and has almost every Japanese horror trope you can think of... but the first act is perfectly paced and really shows that Japanese cinema is miles ahead of American cinema currently.
The television station scene will send chills down your spine and the ghost girl herself is chilling to the bone. Takashi Miike knows how to make an great ghost film.
