Don't let my rating fool you. Chakushin Ari is definitely an entertaining movie, but it's honestly nothing to write home about until the final act (and twist ending). I'm only giving it 4 stars because it knows that it's just another horror movie and Takashi Miike uses that to his advantage to turn Chakushin Ari into a great movie to watch when you've got nothing else to watch (or you just want to have a good time).
