Review of One Hour with You (1932) by Byron B — 17 May 2008
For the first 30 or 40 minutes I had high hopes that this would be the top pick from the Musicals boxset. I was thinking it may even be as strong as "Trouble in Paradise". Somehow, it started to lose steam as it went.
It devolves into a more standard proto-screwball comedy. Interestingly enough, it has a strongly anti-matrimonial ending, so it almost redeems itself.
