I would have given it a 3-star but Tom Waits kicked ass on the Soundtrack so it gets a 4. Definitely a little "odd" but admirable nonetheless considering the things Coppola was trying to do. I didn't like the male lead though, he bugged the shit out of me.
People in 1982 were stupid asses and it shows when movies like this made less than a million dollars and "The Thing" bombed.
