Review of One from the Heart (1982) by Michael B — 08 Jan 2008
A gorgeously surrealistic, dreamlike picture that Francis Ford Coppola spent everything to make; he lost his studio when it flopped commercially. Like all Coppola films, the music is an integral part of the work, but music plays a central role in this one.
Thanks to a full restoration and director's cut on DVD, this movie is being rediscovered and is destined to become a cult classic.
