Review of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) by Sarfaraz A — 04 Feb 2012
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest adapted from the novel of same name by Ken Kesey, and directed by Milos Forman.
It stars Jack Nicholson as Randle McMurphy, Louise Fletcher as Nurse Ratched, Danny DeVito. Jack gives grand performance, plot of film is truly an entertaining one, it keeps its pace and grip. Film doesn't simply end at the unification of characters but the humor they bring to each character as well as the fun; that is what is worth watching. I find the free-will and triumph possessed by characters to be of unique excitement. However, I wouldn't call it amongst my favorite movies.
