Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Richard S — 25 Sep 2009
This film never really appealed to me, I thought it would seem dated. However, I watched it tonight for the first time on the big screen and loved it. The music is very dramatic as is some of the acting, some may say a little over the top but that's what gives it it's charm.
It's well acted, an involving story and it was great to see it outdoors on the big screen.
