Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Matan S — 20 Jun 2011
I don't know how this well-known classic with Marlon Brando slipped beyond my grasp (and knowledge) for so long. Well... one good reason is that this film isn't exactly "timeless", a thriller with not much thrill.
Regardless, still a solid movie which brought us the classic line "I could have been a contender" (somehow I always thought it was Rocky or something).
