Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Sam R — 13 Mar 2009
Very powerful film with an absolutel exceelent performance from Brando. The soundtrack was superb, and only on rare occasion did it seem out of place. Every actor was perfect in their roles, even if at times the female lead did grimace a tad too much, making powerful scenes a tad comical.
But overall it is a very good film that has you on the edge of your seat even at the very end. Excellent film-making.
