Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Wesley M — 24 Jun 2010
They say it has power. That power, I believe, is Brando. I'll never know what it's like to see a performance like this on the big screen.
I can't say this is the most defining moment of Marlon Brando's career because I wasn't actually there (1950's) to witness it. What I can say is that Brando brought something different. He completely took over the role. The cast all did a great job to make me feel for the characters which I seldom get from movies.
