Review of On the Town (1949) by Julie A — 08 Aug 2007
Just like these characters, I only had one day in my only experience in New York City. I kept humming "New York, New York!" the whole day. I adore Gene Kelly's dancing and Frank Sinatra's singing.
Jules Munshin, Vera-Ellen, Ann Miller, and Betty Garrett all were wonderful as well. I think two of the scenes were drawn out too much, but all in all I could watch this movie a million more times.
