Review of On the Town (1949) by Chris C — 13 Jan 2008
The dancing is top notch and the movie just oozes a sheer joy that is contagious. The only problem is that the songs, with the exception of a handful, are somewhat lackluster. "Modern Man" is borderline embarassing.
But it's worth watching for Bett Garrett's horny cabbie alone.
