Review of On the Town (1949) by Stuart K — 12 Oct 2012
The all singing all dancing musical hit of the late 40's and some gorgeous scenery of NYC in the 40's.
Gene Kelly & Frank Sinatra are fantastic & really move the film forward. I found the story a little generic but the look & color palate of the film absolutely stunning.
I loved the locations they chose for NYC where fantastic & even the gals in this film had gorgeous costumes & this film was made to entertain & it does.
