Review of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) by Michael F — 19 Mar 2009
One of the best Bond movies ever! The general assumption is that since George Lazenby played Bond only once, and because they've never heard of him, he must've been the worst Bond ever. The truth is Lazenby did not want to come back and was subsequently fired for bad-mouthing the franchise.
He is still a better Bond than Roger Moore ever was. The only downside about this film is that Connery is indeed not in it. Had he been, this would be known today as the best Bond movie of all time.
