Review of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) by Monty A — 17 Jan 2014
The first really complete James Bond movie. Lazenby was excellent in his only film of the series. Savalis played the first really dynamic SPECTRE boss character. And Diana Rigg played the first really dynamic Bond girl with character and strength.
The film itself showed a vulnerable side to Bond. You felt like you could relate to him throughout the movie because of it. The movie also had the first really great chase sequences of the series. It was definitely worth watching.
