I consider "Oliver!" to be one of the classic movie musicals due to its influential score, an accurate feel of Dickens' novel, and flawless performances from the cast (Ron Moody, Shani Wallis, Oliver Reed, and Mark Lester are all first-rate).
Consider yourself ashamed if you don't like "Oliver!".
