Review of Of Mice and Men (1992) by Greg P — 20 Sep 2007
I'm not gonna be one of those condescending snobs and say that the book was much better...only because I slept through 9th grade English class and can't remember the book well enough. I do know that this was a darn good movie, faithful or not.
Sinise was an obvious choice as the protective and brash George, while Malkovich seemed like a possible miscast as Lenny...but boy he pulled out a great performance. Touching story of a lost dream: something that was probably common-theme during the great depression.
