Review of Ocean's Twelve (2004) by Sam C — 07 Nov 2011
Oceans Twelve is a good sequel to the pretty good Oceans Eleven. Oceans Twelve is about Danny and the gang again but in a different situation. This time Terry Benedict has found everyone in the gang and is giving them two weeks to repay all his money they stole.
So now the gang has to go and compete with someone called the Night Fox and if Danny and the gang get this valuable egg before Night Fox does Night Fox will repay the money to Benedict. Once again Oceans Twelve is another good heist movie.
This time I can actually say I thought this movie actually had some good comedy scenes were I was actually laughing at unlike the first. When it comes to the heist scene just like the first one it was very clever but it doesn't come close to the one the pulled in the first.
For acting the old cast does very well like the first one. This time the person whose changed the most is Brad Pitt and his character Rusty. This time Rusty has seen his old girlfriend (who he ran out on because she was investigating a burglary that he was involved in) and he is still in love with her even though she's trying to bring his gang down.
For Catherine Zeta-Jones she does a good job as Isabel the chick Rusty falls for, but is the top agent who is trying to catch Rusty and his gang. Oceans Twelve is a good sequel to the first but in my opinion the first was better for certain reasons.
