Review of Ocean's Twelve (2004) by Bruce B — 22 Jul 2013
In what was assuredly a made-for-the-money sequel, Steven Soderbergh loses control on the talented cast and farfetched storyline early and often. Unlike its predecessor, Ocean's Twelve was not coherently around a single heist, but rather around the elaborate concept of "doing whatever it takes" to pay back the money they stole.
The acting lacked emotion and the plot consistency. Bottom line, this was an incredibly disappointing film on nearly every level. I wouldn't recommend it.
