Inferior to Oceans 11, and indicative of where Oceans 13 ends up, the separation of the semi-believable elegant heist in Oceans 11, and the unrealistic stupid methods of the heist in this movie are profound and a let down.
If they could have made the scenario believable, albeit unlikely, it would be fine. But they have to invoke utter fictional technology and methods to pull off this heist. More like mission impossible than Oceans 11, which was awesome.
Still, pretty damn entertaining.
