Review of Ocean's Twelve (2004) by Steve S — 13 May 2010
** (out of four).
A dissapointing and dull sequel to the the hit remake "Ocean's Eleven". The first one worked well because it set it's plot onto a singular goal and then took an entertaining road to get there. This time it tries to do too much, being bigger and more extravagant. It ends up being confusing, boring, and diluted.
The team of con men (and women) have moved on from Las Vegas Casinos and have now set there sights on European targets, which includes an invaluable painting.
Bigger isn't always better and here no one seems to be having much fun...most of which is the audience.
