Review of Ocean's Eight (2018) by Domenic D — 16 Jun 2018
A lot of talent wasted in this film. There was no chemistry here despite the all-star cast. Sandra Bullock was wooden in her delivery. Blanchett, along with the rest of the cast were underutilized or completely flat.
And the, "by the way we stole more jewels at the end" plot twist felt so contrived I almost laughed in my seat. This film never moves beyond novelty in plot and acting.
