A sparkling debut that showcases the overabundant caustic wit of writer-director Gillian Robespierre. Although this may strike most people as a 'chick flick', it is a sophisticated, gleefully-sarcastic, sincerely-told (warts and all) tale with a lot of quote-worthy one-liners.
