Now, if you're into good oldfashioned melodrama with some brains attached to it, this one is not to be missed. Bette Davis in a stunning performance, in a film with a great script that still after all these years seem unbelievebly up to date.
I am always amazed about how modern Hollywood was in the 40's, and this is one of the best examples of it...Disfunctional familiy relationships along with a true voyage into the nature of the depressive personality - what more could you as for?
