(1942) Now, Voyager.
ROMANTIC PSYCOLOGICAL DRAMA.
Based on Oliver Higgins Prouty's novel centering on the repressed Bette Davis character Charlette Vera which as a result of living with her overbearing mother, she becomes isolate as she acknowledges her condition, motivating her to send for a professional psychiatrist played by Claude Rains.
It is when she Charlotte goes on a cruise is where she falls for a already married man Jerry Durrance (Paul Heinreid).
Made during the time when the way to watch soap opera was on the big screen except that the acting and actions from it's characters are still possible to happen despite when it was made.
3 out of 4.
