Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Landon M — 20 Aug 2014
The only thing that interests me about the film is the spooky look of Count Orlok. Aside from that it is far from a masterpiece. Some images are creepy and work well (like the iconic shadow for instance), but as a movie it just doesn't flow and is boring because of that.
Admittedly, I typically don't enjoy old silent films as much, but even for 1922 I felt this was unwatchable. Be prepared to be letdown if you are expecting terror. (First and only viewing - 10/19/2013).
